Programs


We teach English as a second language tutoring classes for a variety of ages partners with Wright State to teach English, counting money, grocery shopping, map reading, and GRE testing. Transportation is provided when needed. The beginner and intermediate adult classes include childcare and a meal for children. Upon completion, classes at Sinclair, the University of Dayton, and Wright State University are available. Youth classes are offered after school

Refugee Support

​

•     Advocates for public assistance programs (food           stamps, medicare, job center services, assistance         with utilities)

•     Provides transportation for medical care,         

       obtaining driver’s license, emergencies, and
       food access

•     Interpretation and translation in Swahili, French,           and English

•     Assistance with immigration protocol for       

       permanent residence, asylum, and citizenship

•     Education on adapting to life in America.             

       employment expectations, government policies,         social customs, etc...

 

Volunteers ACCC is a volunteer run organization and would love to have your support! If you’re looking for leadership experience, ACCC is a great place for you.
